Here are pictures from Pepper the dog's 4,300-mile trip from South Carolina, to Colorado and back. Besides a couple travel nights - at motels in Forrest City, Ark., and Paducah, Ken. - and many explorations of the back lots at truck stops and Walmarts, she visited: Wichita, Westcliffe, Colo., Telluride, Colo., and North Carolina's Pisgah National Forest. That's quite a ride for an 18-month-old, high-energy pointer mix who spent most of the first 15 months of her life in an animal shelter....
