Once in a lifetime, some of us are blessed with a very special pet. On April 25, while I was traveling yet again, ours had a bad tummy ache. She had a "twisted" stomach, an apparently common ailment. A day earlier, she was a vibrant, smart, incredibly loving, high-energy dog, not yet five years old. We were blessed to have her. I just wish we could have had her longer.
